Members of the Horata Samiti and several local organizations have joined hands to make the bandh successful. Their key demands include:
- ₹1,000 crore special relief package for Kalaburagi district.
- Immediate assessment of crop damage and compensation for affected farmers.
- Upgradation of flood control infrastructure, including strengthening of embankments and drainage systems.
- Faster execution of pending regional development works under Article 371(J).
